Open Upload and choose the File tab for a PDF, photo, or Word document, or the Paste text tab to paste a chord sheet directly.

• PDFs are converted to images in your browser — nothing leaves your device until the converted pages upload.
• Choose One song, Multiple songs (songbook), or let the AI decide with Auto.
• Use AI Instructions for hints like “skip page 1 (cover)”, “split by page”, or “the book uses flat keys”.
• Pasted text that looks like a chord sheet is parsed instantly on your device with no AI call; anything else goes through AI extraction.

Click ✎ Edit on a song to edit the whole sheet as plain text. Write chords inline in square brackets, directly before the syllable where the change happens:

• [Chord] — inline chord, e.g. [Am], [G/B], [F#m7].
• ### Section Name — section heading; add (x2) for repeats.
• # Title and ## Subtitle — title blocks.
• // note — a free-text note.
• Blank line — separates bars from each other.

Press Apply & save when done. Title, artist, key, capo, BPM, categories, and notes are edited in the details panel beside the song and save automatically.

• Transpose: Alt+↑ / Alt+↓ or the − ♭ / + ♯ buttons. Your transpose is remembered per song.
• Font size: - / + or the A− / A+ buttons.
• Autoscroll: press Space to start or stop, Esc to stop. Pick from five speeds (Slower → Faster).
• Fullscreen: the ⛶ Full button; Esc exits.
• Print: the ⎙ Print button in the ⋯ menu prints a clean page with title, key, capo, BPM, and time signature.
• Prev / next: ← / → moves between songs.
• Two columns: the ▥ button splits long songs into two columns on wide screens.

A setlist is an ordered group of songs for a single service or performance. Create one from Setlists, add songs, drag them into order, and set a per-song transpose offset (remembered for next time).

Perform mode shows one song at a time with prev/next navigation and each song already transposed by its offset. Print Setlist prints every song stacked with page breaks.

Use the 🔗 Share link button on a song or setlist to create a public link anyone can open — no account needed. Links expire automatically after 30 days, and you can revoke a link at any time, after which it stops working immediately.

• Does ChordLib work offline? — Recently opened songs and the top of your library are cached on your device, so you can keep reading when the network drops.
• My PDF has many pages. What should I do? — Use Multiple songs (songbook) mode; very long PDFs are capped per upload, so split large songbooks into smaller files.
• The AI put chords in the wrong place. How do I fix it? — Open ✎ Edit and move the [Chord] brackets to the right syllable, then Apply & save.
• Someone I shared with says the link stopped working. — Links expire after 30 days or when revoked. Create a fresh link from the song or setlist.
• How do I get an account? — Accounts are created by the administrator.
